Help :Video Files Hangs

Hi there. I've encountered a problem with my video files. My computer tends to hang very often when i tried to play video files.It says LOADING......But it just hangs there. I've downloaded many codecs but it is still useless...But my video files play well after i restarted my computer...But after a certain time....It hangs again....Pls help......

problem may be that your load on your ram may be fresh when you start your computer, but after its been on awhile the ram has been taking on loads that isn't often times freed even if the program taking the load from the ram isn't running any longer. I would suggest getting a freeware ram optimizer such as freeram xp pro. its what I use.
