help needed opening files

I posted something yesterday and had areply but what I was told didn't work. What is happening is that when I go to open a file a box appears with the word file download at the top. It asks me if I want to open it but when I click open it just keeps reappearing. Can anyone tell me what to do.

Hmmm. sounds like you have the your an idiot virus with different encoding try running norton or some other antivirii software.
