Default HELP: my widows task bar turned classic! want to resotre to normal.

ok, so i was reading this thread about 23 ways to make your computer faster, and somone messed up my settings and now m computers taaskbar and stuff is in the classic way windows used to have them....

The 23 ways thing is here:
http://www.techist.com/showthread.php?threadid=10692

And i messed up my computer when i was doing step 13...but i restored everything back to normal and it still like this!
Or it could have been step 21 when i disabled a service that did this....

can someone please help me get my taskbar back to normal!

I attached sum screen shots so you can see what my task bar and menus look like.

Right-click on My Computer, go to properties, click the Advanced tab, change the Performance settings to Adjust for Best Appearance. If that doesn't help then I don't know what will.

You may have disabled the themes service

Go to start>run>type in "services.msc">scroll down to "themes>double click it and change the startup type to automatic

You may have to restart after you change settings.
