Default Help me clean up XP

OK, I had to format my drive as you know, but in the process of updating XP and get my AV and Firewalls, I had many trojans.......

There are many strange files on my drive and I want them gone

Lets start in C:, where it lists the folders there are many other files that aren't on my laptop and don't recall them on my previous install

They are:

all_icons
Edow_AS2
HideRun
iexpIerer
iexplerer
mfffs
mffsf
OverPro_347
re12 - Registration entry
swed - Batch file
swen - Batch file
swef - Batch file
wexpIerer

Am I right that these are virus files and need to be deleted?

I would take a look at ur add/remove prgams first and try to remove unknown stuff from there.

From google:

Edow_AS2= trojan (not sure though)

HideRun=not a virus but could be used by a trojan to run hidden prcesses

iexpIerer7iexplerer=not sure, could be virusses

mfffs=no virus

mffsf=no virus

OverPro_347=no virus

re12 - Registration entry=no virus

swed - Batch file=no virus

swen - Batch file= a worm

swef - Batch file=no virus

wexpIerer=no virus

Delete them at ur own risk and do a virusscan first!!

AVG, Spybot, Ad-aware and Trend Micro online scan didn't bring them up?
