Don't double-post.

..............

1.Go get your CD that has your sound card drivers for it.
2.Reinstall Itunes to restablish file contacts for songs to play, such as mp3, mp4 or wav.
3.Make a backup anything that you know is in danger of going to PC h***
4.Use XP to make system restore points before you run any AV (ANTVIRUS) SW (SPYWARE removal software) or cleaning programs to keep your running smoothly.

To make system restore points.

Start Menu
All Programs
Accessories
System Tools
System Restore
Create New Restore Point.

If you are an idiot and deleted it from here, it can also be found at

%SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
