ya i would say slipstream or the easiest way is to get another copy of xp pro sp2

and if u dont wanna pay, bittorrent/dc++ are always there for u!

If all you care about keeping is the documents and settings then you could also run File and Settings Transfer Wizard off the XP Pro CD under additional components. That will transfer everything you're worried about I'm sure.

Then just burn the files it created to a CD or DVD depending on the size, format and load up XP Pro, run the file and settings transfer wizard from the same cd (to ensure the versions are the same, otherwise it wont work) and you'll have the documents and settings you're worried about.
Just another option anyways...

especially if you install the programs after you tranfered the files. they don't tell you to install programs first
