a friend of mine is having problems with his computer sometimess when he restarts his computer it comes up a blue screen and says its dumping all phyisical memory and my background is always some stupid default thing with clouds and a field even when i change it too a picture when restarted its the stupid field.whats the cause of this?how can i fix this?what can i do to solve this?

Run a virus and spyware scan. It sounds like it is not saving your configuration before it shuts down. If you are using XP Tuneup i know that is one of the options on that if not you might have some else stopping your system from saving the config before it shuts down.
