I recieve this message everytime i try to execute an executable file, i goto the folder options control panel, well try to and i get that message the only way i can open a program is to right click and browse through my computer till i find the file. This goes for all executable files. Also when i double click on a file it will usually freeze or just not open unless i do what i stated above. i am running windows xp professional, but i dont want to have to format it
