Unhappy HD Space

Y my hardisk space getting smaller and smaller everytime i modified and save my document ?

Let's say I got a word document named Test.doc ( let's say its space used is 6MB ) and my presence HD space is 500MB. When I open the doc and modified and then save over and over again for many times, my presence HD space become less than 50MB and the Test.doc is less than 7MB. What's wrong with it ?

maybe it's just windows makin up sizes for it in the properties menu?
SpaceMonger dl and use that, zoom in on the folder where this happens, and let us see it. if it doesn't display it to be that big, then you can ignore the file size on disk thing (right ppl?)

best i could come up w/ thus far.

best of luck
