hd reformat

will windows xp delete everything previously on a harddrive if i do a clean install?

Go for it!! I Think it's a good idea to flush that HD every couple of years if that just to get rid of all the crap that's built up on it. Back up your most precious items first though. I keep a separate file with all the drivers, Apps, etc.. so it's pretty easy to Re-Install everything. Just my 2 cents worth. Good Luck!
