Having a problem after reinstall of OS with audio driver

After installing windows xp and loaded all drivers except on is acting very crazy which is audio. Under device manager it tells me "WIndows cannot load device driver for this hardware the drive may be corrupt or missing" any suggestions i have already tried uninstalling the device and reloading the driver but still had no luck. Im stuck any suggestions?

Try windows update, or from the manufacturer.

Hardware monitor can be used to find who made it.

Thought HW Monitor is used to find out temps

. You can also check out Speccy. Like said otherwise, use Windows Update or check the manufacture's website.

Is this CPUID the Hardware Monitor mentioned or is it something else?

Hmm, you might be right,m I though hardware monitor did tell components... Hmmmm, maybe I was thinking Everets.

well its a dell computer and I went there and selected the computer and etc and got the driver from their website, and it gives me **** lol.

Mind posting the PC you got, maybe one of us can check it out for you if you're not getting any luck.

Everest, Belarc Advisor and SiSandra Software will tell you exactly what the sound device is so you know which driver to download.

its a dell inspiron 1501 laptop running windows xp 32bit sorry on lack of details earlier kinda slipped my mind. Thanx for any help or suggestions

UPDATE: Problem fixed, I did another reinstall and driver went on perfectly fine
