If you are wanting to use Telephony, why not use Asterisk?

no i did not look at technet, i did not know technet existed till you told me, i was doing googles and coming up nothing.

yep! thats the one! to get the newer and some other info you need to have a certification and a membership, but you can look up past stuff and I'd say that should be there.
