Harddrive Syncing Software

i need a good program to sync my laptop with my external hdd, the software that came with the hdd is pretty horrible and doesnt work right. any suggestions?

Take a look at secure copy (scriptlogic.com ).
This tool can handle this task in the easiest way. All you need is just to select source and target paths, check "Synchronize target contets with source" checkbox and press run button.
