Was having problems with nVidia drivers, sorted them out but then my Vista x64 installation developed faults with the registry (& bluescreens!) so I said to heck with it, I'll reinstall. :D
Now I have reinstalled Vista on the same partition as the old one, with the old OS moved to "Windows.old". However despite having now deleted this, my hard drive is using 112GB (no programs installed yet you see, Also includes hidden files!). If I select all my files though in My Computer they number only 70GB.
Where's my 42GB gone

System Restore, old profile folder under the user folder, hibernate...this is why you should format when you reinstall. Having that Windows.old folder causes issues.

Hmm, trying to avoid that. Guess there's no other way, backup documents and format.
And yes, the rcycle bin is empty. Wouldn't fit in there anyway! :)
