I have a western digital 120GB hard drive that backed up a computer at my father's business. The hard drive decided to crap out on us, and it apparently was the cause of many BSODs.

Anyway, I have the backup on this external hard drive, a clone of the original drive. I used western digital's software to make the backup, but I can't find any cds and I cannot remember what I used to clone the hard drive.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Edit: taking a wild guess that I used Acronis True Image WD Edition.

Did you clone the original drive or did you create an image backup? If you actually cloned the drive you should be able to install the cloned drive in place of the original drive and boot from it. If you did an image backup, then you need to create a boot CD from the Acronis WD app (you were supposed to do this BEFORE you needed it). After that, you can boot the CD and restore the image to the new drive. The image backup files will have the extension .tib if they were created using Acronis.
