I am replacing my old HDD with a new, bigger, faster HDD. Now, i was told i could use the trial version of norton ghost to use its copy my harddrive feature, which would copy everything i have, even boot records, so that after the copy, i can put the new HDD in place of the old one, and it will run just like it did before, everything the same. Now i downloaded Norton Ghost 10, and the copy my harddrive feature isnt enabled on the trial version, and i have no money to buy the full version.
So my question is, is there any free program out there that i can totally copy my old harddrive onto my new harddrive and once i have it fullly copied, i can remove the old harddrive, and put the new one in its spot, and it will be the exact same as it was before, just on a differen harddrive?
