This is just a shot in the dark here. But if you have a computer, such as an "Hewlitt Packard", your OS back-up is on your hard-drive. You just need to copy it to cd or dvd and use it to re-install your operating system.
That is assuming your friend knows what he is talking about.
You can always try to uninstall and see if that fixes the problem. Then, find a new antivirus like avast4home.
I'm not sure what language you are trying to use. That may cause issues. Avast 4 home lets you choose software based on the language you are used to.
It's late, and I may not be seeing something that Warez Monster is though, (probably the case). Still.......it cannot hurt.
