Default Halflife 2 crashing

I've been having issues lately with Halflife 2, I cleaned up some spyware on my computer a while ago and recently certain games won't work. It loads the menu to start the game and then when I click to start a new game shows the halflife logo and crashes and gives me this error.

Enable Windows XP Firewall

Fix this one entry with HJT:

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{6F15B6AD-E4EF-4C5A-B780-EC3B20DC97B3}: NameServer = 68.227.94.25
