Default group policy

how do i edit the group policy i have windows xp home and i go to run and type in gpedit.msc and it dont work

The Group Policy feature doesn't exist in XP Home. Its only for the Pro version. In my opinion, the Home Edition should have included it because it would be a great tool for parents wanting to restrict the things their children can do on the PC.

I agree. This is one reason i opted for my bootleg XP Pro as opposed to my real version of home.
