Now I've got myself into a pile of trouble.
20 laptops supplied to school with XP Pro, domain logon to NT4 Server, all setup identically. all working fine on wireless>cable network.
The school have w95 and w98 PCs still connected to the network and the policy settings download on logon as per normal.
With XP Pro I can't implement policy settings via a script as on the w95 and w98 systems and I have to do it manually one at a time. I've tried everything to copy templates across and I've got myself into a little bit of a mess.
I've only experimented with 3 out of the 20 laptops. One is OK. The other two I've managed to deny Admin rights to GPEdit, ho ho.
Does anyone have any bright ideas how I can maybe edit registry to reset the Group Policy Settings on the 2 I have messed up?
Also, does anyone know of a simpler way to create Group Policy Settings across 20 laptops?
Thank you very much
