GIMP errors with .TIFF

I am using The GIMP as my Image Editor, and while trying to open .TIFF images, I get an error (see link below). I have no idea how to fix it to where I don't get this error anymore... Also, while trying to save .TIFF images I get another error message. (See link below) Is there plugins I need to fix these errors? Thank for the Help, Jeremiah.

P.S. I didn't use this as a first resort as most, I have asked several people and used the GIMP Plugin Registry, but no luck yet.

Same thing happens for me in Windows Gimp, but not in Mac or Linux Gimp.
