Default Getting windows to recognise hardware

Hi, I had/had a problem with windows recognizing my network adapters, I have 2 PCI NICs and an internal NIC. The internal nic kept renaming itself LAN 2, 3 etc. So we formatted the HD and reinstalled XP. Now I'm trying to get the thing to recognize any of my NICs. It just won't, I've tried installing the generic drivers, the ones from the manufacturer (the internal is a nfoce4 chipset, installed the driver for it from NVIDIAs site, which usually works and NOTHING) I can't get a connection any way I try .

I'm working on this then I'll try for sound.
