Getting IR to work in Media Center

I bought a tv tuner hvr-1250 and installed it... everything works fine. But when I try to set it up with Media Center, it doesn't see the IR in the set-top box. The light shows though... so it does turn on. Any suggestions?

microsuck need to address and fix this issue. one day they just stopped caring about media center. so when you windows update the ehome transceiver drivers (ir remotes) is nowhere to be found anymore.

lot of websites use to hosted the drivers so people can fix this issue, yet you know the ms will always delete links to sites that hosts their stuff.

if they are going to do that at least they should have the decency to supply the drivers yourselves. they supplied them 18 months ago

I don't know if this works on vista. it does on mce

Check thru the updates listed here:

Vista Updates - TheTechArea.com

There are quite a few MCE updates. Not sure if any of them were part of the Windows Update. I think most of them were not.
