Getting error

I don't know how this happened but my computer keeps hanging up, meaning that after I have it opened and a few programs opened, it will freeze, then I shut it down/cold boot and get the error regsvr32.exe DLL initialzation failed. What could this be and is there a way to fix this problem.

I have a Dell computer with 512 RAM and 40 GB hard Drive, Intel Pentium 4, it's a 2003 computer.

Any help will be appreciated.

I'm assuming that the system run's on Xp ...

It might not nesscary that it's the regsrv32.exe which is the problem ..it could also be b'coz of the dll which is tryin' to register itself.
Do u get the name of the Dll which causes the regserv error ?

Yes I'm running XP and it doesn't or I haven't noticed the name of the drive, all it says is:
regsvr32.exe DLL initialization failed. Thats it......I will watch and see if there is something else that comes up...
