Hello,
It makes a long time I search an answer to the following question; and any time I ask this question I get no answer, I hope find some help here.
A friend for who I manage his PC had has a problem: his computer didn't want to boot.
Before I formate the HD with windows xp again, I would save data.
I've tried to install a linux ubuntu os and repare windows and put the internal HD into external HD box -> it doesn't work at all; at any time when I want to copy files a message apear: "You doesn't have enough right to access to this file" (but I'm connected with the root access, and the same in a console...) and same message in safe boot.
That comes because windows sessions had password, ok, but isn't there any solution?
If I can't do it manualy, I don't think a backup soft could do it...
Dimitry
