Hello. Can someone tell me what an "Electronic Scheduler" is?

Also, can someone suggest what Inventory control software I could download and learn how to use on the Internet....for free?

electronic scheduler coordinates data processing tasks. it will accept requests by some trigger. triggers can be a email or file being created or other event. the scheduler will add it to a queue and handle the process automatically to completion.

Hello..thanks for responding. I am interested in downloading some kind of inventory control software so I can simply learn it for myself. I am looking for a job at this time and some of the requirements were that I be familiar with 'inventory' control software. I was thinking maybe simply download some kind..and learn it myself.

Any qualitative suggestions?
