Games crashing on Windows XP SP3

I have a laptop Acer Aspire 1650 (pretty old but i have newer ones).

When i play a game and i click,I got teleported to the desktop.This happens with all the games,even Theme Hospital can't play!!!

My specs are:
Processor 2.00 GHz
1 GB ram
ATI Radeon (don't remember it)

Have you reinstalled the game? Tried reinstalling your mouser driver? Could even reinstall the OS.

Does this happen when doing anything else on the laptop?

It is not a bug. The games crashing does not equal a bug in the OS. You need to start by doing what Lex said. Reinstall the games, reinstall drivers and even try a Restore Point from when you know the machine was working.

A Bug in any OS is something that can be reproduced given the specific parameters that caused the problem. In your case it would mean that anyone using XP SP3 would not be able to play any games. Since that is not the case, it isnt a bug with XP, but a problem with your machine.
