Default gaimbot

I downloaded gaimbot.pl, but I don't know what to do with this file. I wanted a bot for gaim and this looks exactly like what I need, but I don't know where to put it. and none of the sites that have it say how to install it. what is a .pl file?

As far as I know, .pl is a perl file, which would usually only be run on a *nix system.

Unless the game uses it proprietarily (internal game extension), which is possible. . . in which case you would need to find somewhere inside the game to "import" or "install" it, probably.

It's probably a perl script, but I'm sure there is a perl interpretor for Windows, I just dunno much about it.
