Default Freeware Database Program?

I was just wondering if anyone here knew of a freeware database program, for keeping track of customers and inventory, I am trying to start up a computer shop for selling high end parts on demand. and i would like this program to have general data input sections so i can blacklist customers withouthaving to check different lists or programs, srry for being so picky

OpenOffice is a free full-featured Office suite, and includes a Database program, as well as Word Processor, and Spreadsheet.

mysql, postgresql are pretty popular. Just design an interface, connect, boom. =) But yes, openoffice has a decent spreadsheet, although that will be cumbersome with a large amount of data.
