no way! you need to put the cd in a boot from it. before windows has loaded up.

download Win98
insert floppy
execute file
boot from floppy
a: fdisk
hit 1 for the first option
yes
yes
hit 3
then 4
or hit 3
then 3
to delete the partition
reboot
hit 1 for the first option
then hit
1
1
to make new partition
insert windows cd
your on your way
