formatting

Hi
My usb stick says is write protected and apparently I need to format it, how do I do that?

Plug it into your computer, right click on it in My Computer, choose Format.

The USB drive should have a little slide tab on it, either on the end, side, or top. One side will probably have an image of a closed lock, and the other an image of an open lock.

Slide it to the open lock side.
