Default formating

i have made a BIG mistake but hey im 16 and im still learning more and more about computers via mistakes so ...

i was reinstalling my OS (win XP PRO) and when the screen asked me which partiion to install it on i had left my USB pen drive and not noticed so when i saw this weird partition i didnt think twice about deleiting it leaving it as a 512mb (ruffly) unpartition space i then proceeded the OS setup only to realise wot that mystery partition space was i then took my pendrive upstairs and plugged it into to my other pc runing win xp home and nothing but nothign happens any way i cna recover this pendrive?

p.s i think it was using file FAT system
