If you need to completely reformat your hard drive and
reinstall windows, the use of a Win98 Boot Disk and the included FDISK
program can help you out. This how-to assumes you want to completely erase your
hard drive and use the entire hard drive for the partition
WARNING! - This will completely erase your hard drive.
Proceed with caution with this and remember to back-up any files
that you need to keep from the hard drive on other media such as cd's or floppy disks.

1:Insert the Windows 98 boot disk and start up your computer with the floppy disk.
If you do not have one either find a WIN 98 Machine and create one or download one
from bootdisk.com
2:Start the computer with or without cd-rom support enabled.
When the a:\ prompt shows on the screen, type cd c: and press enter.
3:Type in FDISK and press enter
4:A prompt asking you to enable large drive support.
Type (Y) and press enter.

screen1
5:A menu with four options will then be shown on the screen. Type (3) and press enter.
screen2
6:On the next screen type (1) and press enter.
screen3
7:Type the number of the partition you want to delete (normally 1) and press enter.
It will then ask you for the volume label. Enter it from the screen above if there is a volume label.
If there is not a volume label just press enter. Then type Y and the FDISK program will do the rest.
Press ESC to return to the FDISK menu.
screen4
8:From the FDISK menu, type (1) for Create DOS Partition or Logical DOS Drive.
screen5
9:On this screen, type (1) for Create Primary DOS Partition.
screen6
10:When the next screen appears Select Option (1), Create Primary Dos Partition and press enter.
11:FDISK will then verify the drive integrity.
12:Next, FDISK prompts:
"Do you wish to use the maximum available size for a Primary DOS partition and make the partition active.......?(Y/N)"
Type (Y) and press enter.
13:That is the final step, the computer will now ask to be restarted to complete the changes.
Restart the computer with either the WIN 98 boot disk in the floppy drive or in the CD Drive.
You can also install other operating systems during this time.

I am gonna check first if i did it rigth
