Font Dilemma

Hey, new here.. but plan on hanging out, seems like a good place to get some questions answered. Anyway, I searched and nothing came up answering my question, so here goes:

I Just did a re-installation of windows XP. Before, to add fonts, all I had to do was drag the font file into the FONTS folder in windows.

After the re-installation, I'm not able to do this. Only by going to control panel and adding one, one font at a time. At that rate, it would take me days to install them all.

Its probably something obvious, what am I overlooking to be able to drag the files straight into the windows/fonts folder? Any help would be appreicated, thanks!

You can select multiple fonts at once.

Have you tried to just cut and paste them?

Ok, I'll just have to extract all the fonts to one folder and select all from there.. its just not as easy as before.
