Default Folding

What exactly is Folding? Is that one of those things where you donate a few cpu cycles to bio research firms?

Distributed computing. Your idle CPU cycles are used to simulate the folding of proteins on your computer, and the results are sent to the researchers. This can be good for curing diseases such as Alzheimers for example.

Ahh, killer. I thought it was something like that, but i really wasnt sure. So it's a good thing. I really cant afford any of my cpu cycles though, unfortunetely I need all of them. My components suck.
