I am currently trying to update a batch file that we run on peoples computer in my office. We are trying to back up everyone's address book and favorites. In order to do this we are running this command "Copy "C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\*******.default\abook.mab" G:\archive"
The area wher the ***** are, is what im ahving trouble with. We are using Mozilla Thunderbird and it creates a random string of numbers and letters to make a profile. However it is always the only folder in the profiles folder. What i would like to do is find a variable so that windows will automatically go to this folder, the only folred using a variable such as %username%. Anyone know of a folder variable command that could just bypass this one folder, otherwise i have to customize the batch for every user and we have about 500 users.
