folder options messed up....folders dont open

hey,
i was browsing through my folder options hoping to find some way to set the default folder icon to my own icon...to no avail. but somehow the 'file folder' assosciation has it set now so when you doucle click on a folder it opens the search screen. then i tried adding an action to the list and i added 'fastopen.exe' because i dont know how to make them open but fast open doesnt work and now i cant delete the action or edit other ones so i can see whats up. this angers me so much. makes me wanna throw stuff. any help would be appreciated.

ok try going into windows explorer and clicking on tools and then folder options in the menu at the top and then telling it to reset all folders to default and see if that works.
