Default flash drive, bootable?

I have been told they make them now? I have also been told you can load the OS on one large enough, (2gb)?

i would not put an OS on a flash drive, the constant read/write access required by an OS would kill it

Flash drives always could have been bootable if your BIOS supports it. The only OS designed for USB that I know OS I know of though is **** Small Linux currently.
