ive used zonealarm free version for a while but ive got the pro version now, its even got an anti spyware scanner built in aswell and it blocks 3rd pary cookies etc, amongst other things

I think the "best" is Avast Pro, because the interface is easy, and it's not a memory hog.

agree if you looking for a free anti virus and firewall use some of those however if you want true protection i suggest investing in zone alarm security suite you can actually even take the 30 day trial and see if you really want it .
