Firewall

Is Window's Firewall good enough for my personal laptop or should I look at investing into another firewall?

Zone Alarm free or ZA Pro. I prefer Pro. It's always good to have layers of security, incase one fails, you have a backup.

Rare are outgoing connections detected by Windows firewall
personally i dont trust it.
i suggest using the firewall provided by your antivirus manufacturer or Zone alarm should do fine but its a bit ennoying
your choice....
