Default Firefox's First Birthday

Firefox's First Birthday

We'd like to wish a happy birthday to Mozilla's popular Web browser, Firefox, which turned 1 this month. It seems like only yesterday that we were introduced to its tabbed browsing and built-in RSS readers. Mozilla has made an impressive dent in the online market by building its open-source browser with distinguishing features and by tackling potentially harmful ActiveX controls¬óall the while competing with Microsoft Internet Explorer.

In fact, Mozilla is currently developing Firefox 2 and 3, to be released in 2006 and 2007, respectively. To celebrate its birthday, tell us in our forums if you use Firefox and why, what your favorite extensions are, and how the browser will stand against IE's dominance in the future.

I would like to say thanks for making the computer world safer
