Default Firefox. The Winner of the 100 best products of 2005

WEB BROWSER (Free) Let the browser wars begin anew: This open-source program is streamlined, customizable, and just plain better. No wonder it has attracted millions of users in just a few months. Is it merely a coincidence that Microsoft finally plans to give the aging Internet Explorer the major overhaul it has needed for years?

Yes, but unlike IE, they actually try and fix it in a reasonable amount of time.

Good for FireFox, I say. It's a much better browser than IE and even when IE gets that overhaul, I doubt I'll go back to it. Good Open-Source projects such as FireFox and Openoffice are even better than Microsoft's counterparts, plus they're free!

I think you're missing the point. Firefox works, and even though they may try to attack it, it works better than IE, and the holes are fixed rather than papered over.

And it's not nice to curse people for using what they like.

<insert sarcasm> means I'm joking normally, I use it and love it I just fear that it will become a target for attacks.
