Default Firefox and the download message window

One thing that really agervates me is the little window in the bottom right that pops up when a file download is complete. I have searched the setting for firefox but havent found any place to turn this setting off. Is there any way? Or am I going to just have to deal with it?

I have that turned off right now. I'll see what happens when I turn it back on. Thanks.

Enabling that option does not help at all. I still get the download window to pop up int the bottom right corner. And now it takes a long time for me to regain control of my web browser, as it waits to display that the file was downloaded in both windows.

I cant be picky in how the software I use works? I like to control what happens on my pc. If something is a hinderance I like to remove it.

Firefox, breathing fire! Did you come up with that one all on your own? I would have never seen the correlation there. Yes, that is the logical step. Don’t reply if you don’t have any thing worthwhile to contribute.
