Default Firefox 1.5.0.5 is available

The Firefox 1.5.0.5 has not been officially released yet but they have all of the files available on their FTP. All of the links that need to be ready for the release have been made available and now it is just a matter of them updating the Firefox homepage. Here are the available downloads for the English version:

* Windows
* Mac
* Linux

The release notes have also been posted which states that this release fixes some stability and security issues. If you are currently running Firefox 1.5.0.4 you shouldnÂ’t have to worry about downloading the new version because it will eventually update itself over the next few days

Thanks...... But I think Firefox is still not as stable as IE. It always hangs when I open 5-7 tabs together.

The Beta version beats all browsers. But it's not totally stable, yet...

I so agree. the new firefox 2.0 beta give you instant internet access when you click on it. it's faster than any browser ever.

the only problem with it? it's always crashing for no reason

It does crash, sometimes, but it does let you restore your old session exactly how it was before. That's a big plus

The spell-check is excellent!
