Default Finding a replaced file?

Hi All,

Just a quick question, i have an application that is replacing system files on Windows XP. It given me no indication to the file being replaced, just says,
This program is trying to replace windows system files that are intergral to the stability of windows.
please insert the windows xp sp2 cd or press cancell to keep the modified files.

I need to know what file this is and is there any wat to track the file bing changed. I did a search for date modified and selected them by time and date modified but there were thousands of them and i need the specific file at that specidic moment. Is there a way or a tool that will allow me to track the file being modified from the CD.??
