File sharing

How do you share files or drives on seperate computers. They are both in the same house but i cant figure out how to do it.

Also my laptop has a serious problem with service pack 2. For some reason when it isnt run in safe mode, it takes around 30 minutes for it to startup and all the memory seems to be taken and it runs so slow its practically unusable. I have no idea why its doing this, if anyone has any suggestions.

network the computers via NIC/LAN port or go wireless. secondly, uninstall SP2.

go to start, run and type msconfig
go to the startup tab and untick a whole lot of items in the list

yeah i went to msconfig and did that before. It didnt help anything. You look in the task manager and the computer usage is 100 % no matter what you do, Even when nothing is running.

try to go inside task Manager, Application see which software(program) running at the backgroup accupies most of the CPU usage. Disable that. Some Anti-virus software likely PC_CLLINE 2004 will take 89% al the CPU usage. Good Luck
