Hello,

For certain MS apps, when I want to save a file or open a file, when it goes to the default save/open window, how can I ensure it always shows the file in certain modes such as "details" and arranged by "modified date", etc?

Go under the folder options. There it should give you all the options you want for that folder or for all folders.
