Question File Compression

Whenever I do my regular 'house keeping' on my computer there's always one think I overlook: compression. My question is:-

Is it worth compressing the entire contents of my hard drive?

Thanks.

Definitely not. Compressing your whole hard drive (especially your OS) will severely slow your computer down. If you are running out of room, buy another hard drive. Hard drives are cheap, and its definitely well worth it instead of compression.
