Explorer.exe turns itself off...

hey guys, I was having this problem on one of my PC's, Explorer.exe turns itself off...

when I try to run a new Explorer.exe throgh the task manger it stays up for a few seconds and turns off again... any of you know a way to fix this?

run malware scans or
run sfc /scannow or
repair windows

ok. so you think it might be malware related?

i dont think i've ever came across a similar issue. Actually thats a lie. My buddy had PokerStars installed and it would freeze everytime he opened it. I had to repair the disk with chkdsk to correct the issue. Prolly a bad sector on the disk, chkdsk marked as dirty.
