I work in a call centre and 2 questions I have to ask people
1.) Does your computer have USB
2.) How much harddrive space does your computer have

I want to find a way to shortcut these questions and not go into opening hefty windows which will confuse my caller.

So, like going start>run>winver or WINDOWS BUTTON + PAUSE/BREAK BUTTON to shortcut a lot of system specs, but i need this for USB and harddrive space

I can imagine there is a way, or hope there is

Anyone have any good ideas?

Thanx

Not sure what you are asking....
You can right click "My Computer" and goto Manage and get to both of these things...but this is with only NT and greater (2000/XP)

i need something that is built into windows that can read this

ie start>run>check%this%place%shor!¬cut

know what i mean?

Well, if they are not logged in as an administrator:

Start > Run >
runas /user:ComputerName\administrator "mmc %windir%\system32\compmgmt.msc"

And if they are:

Start > Run > compmgmt.msc
